报告题目:Exciton Conversion and Manipulation in Organic Light-Emitting Semiconductors

报告摘要:

Organic light-emitting technology offers numerous advantages, including solid-state, self-emission, and low energy consumption, making it highly promising for applications in flat-panel displays and solid-state lighting. Throughout the development of organic light-emitting technology, major breakthroughs have consistently stemmed from the efficient conversion and utilization of microscopic excitons.This presentation begins with the investigation of charge-transfer processes between electron donors and acceptors, elucidating the mechanisms of excited-state configurations for sufficient intersystem crossing process, high photoluminescence quantum yield, and good stability. Furthermore, by manipulating the charge carrier transport and trapping behaviors under electrical excitation, as well as the diffusion, energy transfer, and annihilation dynamics of excitons, the underlying device mechanism has been clarified. These advances have enabled the realization of high-efficiency, long-lifetime, and multifunctional organic electroluminescent devices.


个人简介 :

Xun Tang received his bachelor and master degrees from Soochow University, then obtained his Ph.D. degree from Kyushu University. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Kyushu University. His research focuses on organic optoelectronic semiconductors, including the investigation of photophysical properties of organic light-emitting materials, device engineering and mechanism exploration. He was awarded the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad, and hosted the JSPS/JST grants. His research findings have been published in international journals such as Nat. Mater., Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., and Adv. Mater.
