 主要从事有机半导体分子微纳晶态结构的可控制备及其光子学研究。具体是从分子结构、激发态化学、低维晶态材料结构及其光子学功能的角度,在理论上研究有机分子聚集体与光子产生/传输机制的关系,在实践上探索有机低维晶态结构的可控合成及其光子学集成器件构筑,建立分子结构-分子聚集体-微纳晶结构-光子学性能的内在联系,为有机集成光子学以及有机电泵浦激光的最终实现提供了研究基础。研究成果以第一作者或通讯作者在Nat. Commun.2篇)J. Am. Chem. Soc.2篇),Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.3篇),Matter1篇),Adv. Mater.1篇),CCS Chem.1篇), Adv. Funct. Mater.5篇), Laser Photonics Rev.1篇), Mater. Horiz.1篇)等国际重要学术期刊发表论文50篇。  

指导学生获得第十六届江苏省“挑战杯”竞赛特等奖及第十六届“挑战杯”全国大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛三等奖。在指导的硕士研究生中,有6人次获得国家奖学金,1人次获得江苏省优秀硕士学位论文。
