报告摘要:

The precise design of nanointerfaces and the regulation of optoelectronic properties are the keys to achieving efficient catalysis and energy conversion applications. This report will introduce multi-scale interface simulation and interface engineering strategies driven by high-precision interface force fields from the theoretical simulation of nanointerfaces. This method can accurately describe key interface processes such as π–π interaction, molecular adsorption, and dynamic solvation, and provides a reliable theoretical basis for understanding the dynamic assembly, active site evolution, adsorption configuration regulation, and microenvironment reconstruction mechanism of complex nanointerfaces. On this basis, a model system of biomimetic catalytic reaction, oxygen reduction reaction, corrosion inhibition and optical conversion interface is constructed, and the changes of optical and electrical properties are studied through the combination of theoretical simulation and experiment, and the catalytic efficiency and energy conversion performance are significantly improved. By systematically analyzing the structure-activity relationship between structure and performance at the interface, the key mechanism of interface structure affecting material properties is clarified. This study provides new research methods and ideas for the precise design of functional nanointerfaces and the regulation of optoelectronic properties.  


个人简介 :

Zhu Cheng is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He received a bachelor's degree in polymer science and engineering from Soochow University in 2014 and a doctorate in chemistry from Soochow University in 2019 under the tutelage of Professor Kang Zhenhui. From 2019 to 2023, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder (under the tutelage of Professor Hendrik Heinz), and from 2022 to 2023, he collaborated with BASF AG as a "BASF research fellow". In May 2024, he joined the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Guangdong-Israel Institute of Technology. His main research interests include carbon quantum dots, green catalysis, clean energy production, and molecular dynamics simulation. Up to now, he has published more than 40 high-level papers in internationally renowned journals, and has received funding from national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, as well as the BASF Research Fund of Germany.
