报告摘要：
This presentation will give an overview of scientific publishing, with a particular focus given to the Nanoscale journal family, introducing how these journals work together and how to select which journal is right for you. I will also describe the role of a scientific publisher, how to write your paper, what is needed for submission, peer-review, publishing ethics and open access, along with practical tips and tricks for preparing your manuscripts and navigating the publication process.
个人简介：
Jeremy joined the Royal Society of Chemistry in July 2014 as a Publishing Editor, then became the Deputy Editor for Chemical Science in 2018. At the beginning of 2022 Jeremy became an Executive Editor, and he is currently managing RSC Applied Interfaces, RSC Applied Polymers, andthe Nanoscale family of journals, Nanoscale Horizons, Nanoscale and Nanoscale Advances. Prior to joining the organisation, he completed a PhD at the University of Bath, UK and worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. His research focused on the use of computational techniques for modelling reactions on surfaces and understanding the defect chemistry of oxide materials.
