Current Research Directions

1. High-Throughput Synthesis of Perovskite Nanocrystals: Focused on controllable synthesis, compositional and morphological regulation, and surface chemistry engineering, combined with machine learning-assisted development of room-temperature, low-cost, large-scale flow synthesis strategies.

2. Printable Nanocrystal Optoelectronic Devices: Focused on ordered assembly of nanocrystal films and all-room-temperature air-processable printing of nanocrystal photovoltaics, mini-modules, photodetectors, and related optoelectronic applications.

Research Interests and Achievements

Zhang’s research focuses on the surface and interface chemical engineering of perovskite nanocrystals and their optoelectronic applications. His work systematically covers controllable synthesis of perovskite nanocrystals, surface chemistry design, conductive ink development, room-temperature high-throughput synthesis, nanocrystal film printing, and optoelectronic devices.

He has published more than 10 research papers as first or corresponding author, including Nat. Energy, Chem. Soc. Rev., Adv. Mater., and Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and has been granted 3 Chinese invention patents.
